1964 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE

The Bel of the Ball! This particular car was purchased by the Autodream Group in November of 2007 from a gentleman in Rockford, Illinois. It was purchased without an engine or transmission. According to the owner of the car he had owned it for years with the idea of one day putting a roll cage and tubs in the car with a new big block and 4 speed and go drag racing. We kept the idea of the big block and 4 speed but luckily saved the car from the cutting torch & tubs. The chrome & stainless steel trim was in excellent shape and was all there except one window trim piece, which we located later, and a couple pieces of the body side trim. Since we didn’t have all the body side trim we decided to “airbrush” on the trim instead of finding all the original pieces. We achieved this by using 4 different shades of silver and it look’s great on the car. We had both bumpers re-chromed and managed to buff and polish all the remaining trim back to its original glory. The underbody was very solid and had been mostly gravel guarded and painted black. We decided to just touch it up and leave as is so that the car could be driven with confidence. Specifications: Year: 1964, Make: Plymouth, Model: Belvedere, Engine: Rebuilt 440ci, Transmission: Automatic, Exterior Colour: Red/Black, Interior Colour: Red/Black, Body & Paint: The underbody & frame have been gravel guarded and painted black, Base Coat/Clear Coat paint. “Maserati Black” (Maserati) on the bottom with “Viper Red” Dodge) on the top, Engine compartment painted body colour, Two tone divided by custom airbrushed “chrome trim”, Hand sanded and buffed to high gloss shine, All new weather stripping & seals. 1970 FORD TORINO TAG

This particular car was purchased by the Autodream Group in November of 2007 from a gentleman from Toronto. Upon arrival of the car to our shop we had a “visionary meeting” with the entire staff and threw out ideas as to what we wanted to do with the car. Based on this information we created a rendering showing what we wanted the car to look like. The car itself was in extremely good shape. In fact the entire bottom of the car was still painted orange, the same colour as the rest of the car, and needed very little work. In keeping with the beautiful factory lines of the Torino and the fact that the body was in such good shape we decided to do a mild “Pro tour” of the car but leaving the body pretty much stock. The minor changes we made to the body included removing the large factory marker lights and replacing them with the small round marker lights from a 1968 Dodge Charger, removing the door handles and installing door poppers to open the doors as well as filling in the rear lip of the trunk lid where there was originally a horizontal insert. Perserved high quality, well-maintained survivor. Everything original including the shiny original Red paint. Same mechanic owner for forty years who always keep it garaged. Documented 76,000 miles. Nice chrome, stainless, glass, and Black vinyl interior with no rips. No rust or previous collisions. Runs, drives, brakes and shifts excellent. Panel gaps are good. Body is straight. Automatic folding top works flawlessly. Ford top has been replaced once and still looks good. New back window. Rare options include a four speaker 8 track stereo, power reclining passenger seat, and highway speed control. Also has cold A/C. Power options are seats, windows including vent windows, air vents, antenna, locks, and disc brakes. It has safety convenience control panel, cruise-a-matic, 390ci/315hp motor, sequential turn signals and swing-away steering wheel. All systems work as intended, including gauges, except for cruise. This car is an 8 out of 10, but it is vitually an unrestored survivor which presents a rare opportunity for the preservation class collector. Mission is seven miles S.W. of downtown Kansas City.
