1966 DODGE CHARGER FOR SALE!

For fans of the unusual, this 1966 Dodge Charger is a fantastic find. Finished in extremely rare Metallic Mauve and powered by a 361 cubic inch V8, it's an iconic piece of Mopar history that stands out from its more common younger siblings. The Charger was Chrysler's early efforts to combat the Mustang's screaming success, and the fastback body style suggests speed and power, with a decidedly futuristic look. Proportions are quite pleasing to the eye, with a progressive enlargement of the rear quarters, giving the impression of powerful rear haunches. This particular Charger is extraordinarily clean with a high-quality repaint in the original Metallic Mauve color. There were surely not many Chargers painted this color, and depending on the light it ranges from silver to a medium purple, and with the wonders of two-stage urethane, the shine is simply spectacular. All the dramatic body creases are sharply rendered, thanks to some expert bodywork, and there's a subtlety to the car that the later models seem to lack. Up front, the electric shaver grille is finely detailed, the bumpers are brightly chromed, and there's just no mistaking that full-width rear taillight, all themes that would return to the Charger a few years later. According to the fender tag, the bucket seats and center console are original equipment, and the upholstery has been freshened using NOS material. The slick white seats with black carpets and dash are the perfect complement to the Mauve exterior, creating a very upscale piece of Mopar muscle. The gauges are absolute works of art, exquisite aircraft-inspired dials with markings around the perimeter. An original AM radio remains in the dash, but a later AM/FM/CD stereo head unit has been discreetly mounted down by the driver's left knee. Chrysler fans will recognize the simple chrome shift lever for the TorqueFlite automatic, and the optional clock is perched at the leading edge of the console itself. Fold-down rear seats make for a cavernous cargo bay, which is augmented by a pair of powerful speakers that really fill the car with sound. The 361 cubic inch V8 was rated at a stout 265 horsepower, and put in its final appearance in the 1966 Charger before the introduction of the 383. Dressed in Mopar Turquoise paint, the Commando V8 runs beautifully with a solid whack of low-end torque. Nicely detailed with a chrome air cleaner and matching valve covers, it's a bit flashier than it was originally, but nobody will mind after they see how incredibly clean this car truly is. 1972 FORD BRONCO FOR SALE!

This awesome 1972 Ford Bronco's list of modifications reads like a who's-who of the off-roading aftermarket, and the result is a truck that's ready to hit the dunes in the Baja 500. If you're looking for the raw, visceral feeling of conquering the roughest terrain in a truck that can go anywhere, this is an ideal choice. There's just nothing cooler out on the dunes than an early Bronco roadster: no doors, a bikini top, and that unmistakable Ford grille up front. Finished in beautiful late-model Electric Red, it actually looks sophisticated, as if you'd be able to take it out to dinner right before hitting the trails. The steroid-injected suspension surely helps the attitude, with wide fender flares over the massive off-road tires, and diamond plate rocker protectors for when the going gets especially tough. However, looking this one over, it's pretty obvious that someone spent a ton of money making it ready for battle, then proceeded to pamper it and keep it safe. The finish is beautiful without any of the road rash you'd expect on a serious off-road machine, and the mural painted on the tailgate is tasteful, not in-your-face as you'd expect. This is a Bronco that you could use every day, not just an overgrown toy. As you'd expect, the interior is basic, with hose-it-out flexible bed-liner material sprayed on the floor and black vinyl buckets that appear to be borrowed from a more modern vehicle. The original dash is intact and houses the factory speedometer and auxiliary gauges, all in a single round gauge, which is kind of cool all by itself. The remaining knobs and levers are for things like the lights, although there is an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo head unit mounted in the center. An aftermarket center console has been added, and a Hurst T-handle shifter manages the original 3-speed manual gearbox, with the controls for the 2-speed transfer case right next to it. With big tires, you need plenty of engine, and the built 302 under the hood delivers, making this Bronco quick and nimble, on road and off. Clearly built with an eye towards its off-roading mission, the inner fenders and firewall are protected with more Rhino Lining, and all the critical parts are mounted up high and out of harm's way. Power steering makes it easy to handle, and there's a cooler for the power steering fluid, which is critical in an off-road application. The suspension is a heavy-duty dual shock setup from Rancho, while the heavy-duty 9-inch rear hangs on a set of James Duff adjustable trailing arms. An indestructible Dana 20 transfer case handles horsepower distribution, and those giant tires are 33x12.50-15 mudders on a set of handsome Keystone alloys. 1955 FORD THUNDERBIRD FOR SALE!

There's no doubt the Ford Thunderbird was a game-changer when it hit the market in 1955. Not designed to compete with the Corvette, but surely inspired by it, the Ford was more luxury than sport, but that was just fine in the eyes of Thunderbird buyers, who eagerly bought every single one Ford could build. This lovely Thunderbird Blue 1955 convertible is a super-sanitary west-coast car with zero signs of rust-ever! Thunderbirds are notorious for rusting in some pretty demonic ways, so finding a solid example is important. All the original body panels are intact, as are the floors and trunk, making this one of the most impressive early 'Birds we've seen in a long time. Code T Thunderbird Blue was accurately replicated using modern finishes so it's dazzling in person, and all the chrome was re-plated during the restoration. The bright and cheerful 1950s were in full swing inside the Thunderbird, complete with two-tone turquoise and white seats. Thunderbirds came pretty well loaded, but this one also includes goodies like power windows, power steering with a telescopic wheel, and a 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, so motoring is effortless and luxurious, as intended. The seat covers are exact replicas of the original equipment, and matching door panels are like art with their bright trim and sculpted vinyl. 1976 CHEVROLET K10 FOR SALE!

First question: What is it? Well, it's a 1976 Blazer Chalet, and yes, it was designed and built by GM, not some aftermarket company (well, the camper part was installed by Chinook Mobilodge, but it was designed by camping experts just for this truck). Fewer than 1800 were built in 1976 and early 1977, making them some of the rarest off-roaders ever built. Based on the ultra-capable Blazer, this is the home that can go virtually anywhere. 1972 PORSCHE 911 FOR SALE!

The 1972 Porsche 911T Targa is one of the most highly-collectable early 911s of all. This lovely silver T is the one to own if you're a guy who enjoys driving. The T is by far the most user-friendly and most attractive of the bunch, and this one offers a ton of rear-engine fun for not a lot of cash. Repainted several years ago in its original silver metallic, this 911T is very much an integral part of the 911 legend. The shape is timeless, of course, and there are more than a few Porchephiles who appreciate the early cars' narrow bodies, tidy proportions, and elegant simplicity. Porsches have always been high-quality machines, and it shows here, with doors that open and close effortlessly despite the open top, exacting panel gaps, and a solid, rust-free body structure that suggests years of careful ownership. Chrome was still in fashion in 1972, even in Germany, so this 911 retains its slender bumpers, polished headlight rings, and bright windshield surround, as well as a set of stylish bumper guards. The leather seats are showing their age, but their originality makes up for the wear, and I don't think I would change a thing. Proper square-weave carpets remain underfoot, and the pedals are still floor-hinged, as they would be for years to come. The T was designed for urban warfare, with great low-end torque and a docile nature, but still carrying the ability to fling the car to ludicrous speeds at will. Of course, there's the instantly recognizable sound of Porsche's flat six, and surprising amounts of grunt even just off idle. These engines are also incredibly reliable, so with even modest maintenance they'll run for tens of thousands of miles without a hiccup, as is the case with this car. Get in, turn the key, and start having fun; it makes an early 911 the ultimate toy. Handling is sharp, and you have nothing to fear from the 911's rear-mounted engine if you're even modestly competent behind the wheel. 1972 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL FOR SALE!

Lincoln fans watching the recent funeral of despot Kim Jong-Il in North Korea were probably taken aback by the presence of several massive 1972 Lincolns just like this one leading the parade. However, if you're the kind of guy who can have anything he wants, a full-sized Lincoln Continental like this is probably a great choice. Reliable, powerful, and handsome, these Lincolns are treasured by their owners and are some of the best choices for affordable '70s luxury. Apparently this car has a colorful past, having been owned for 38 years by a secret service agent and maintained to the standards you might expect from such an individual. Finished in elegant black with a black vinyl top, this car looks like it has just 11,000 miles on the clock, not 111,000. From the straight bodywork that has never been rusty or damaged, to the bright chrome that still shines the way it did in the showroom, this is a big, impressive machine. In fact, everything works, right down to the clock and the smallest light bulbs in the glove box. The carpets and door panels are beautifully preserved as well, which should be no surprised given the nature of the guy who owned it for decades. Even the trunk still carries the original spare and jack assembly, still wrapped in its original fabric cover. Lincolns carried Ford's indestructible 460 cubic inch V8, the biggest ever offered by the company. Smooth, powerful, and easy to service, it's the ideal powerplant for a big luxury cruiser like this. 1969 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE FOR SALE!

Nothing says summer like a bright red Chevelle convertible, and when you add a big block to the mix, the result is a car that will make you grin like an escaped convict every time you drive it. There's no question that if you're going to restore a Chevelle, you may as well go all-out and add the SS upgrades that improve performance and looks. This particular ragtop features almost all its original body panels save for the rear quarters, which have been expertly installed and finished so you can't even find the seams. The '69s featured clean styling and a forward-looking stance that makes them look fast just sitting still, and the brilliant red paint certainly emphasizes that impression. A recent white power convertible top, complete with glass rear window and matching white boot, has been installed, giving the Chevelle a sleek look top up or top down. 1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO FOR SALE!

You know it, I know it, everyone knows that there aren't many cooler cars than a '69 Camaro SS in black. Combined with a slick contrasting black and orange houndstooth interior, this is one of the slickest resto-mods we've featured in a long time. Black with orange stripes is a classic combination that looks incredible on the taut sheetmetal curves of the '69 Camaro. Using the hockey stick style stripes gives this car a long, lean, predatory look that's emphasized by the perfect stance and oversized 17-inch wheels. Paint and bodywork are good, which is critical on a black car, and there's enough eye candy to keep you looking for quite a while. A gorgeous Grant GT steering wheel rendered in rosewood matches the dash and console appliques quite nicely, and its smaller diameter and fatter rim give it a modern feel. There's no better powerplant for your Camaro than a cackling 350 cubic inch V8, and this one has been warmed over with some goodies like a Holley 4-barrel atop an Edelbrock intake. Chrome details like the air cleaner, valve covers, and alternator really sparkle against all that black paint, and underneath it all, there's Chevy Orange on the block, nicely tying it all together. While there is every reason to believe this is a true SS, verifying '69 Chevelles without a build sheet can be tricky. We'll do our best to cover all relevant details. To start with, here's the decoded trim tag.

The strongest arguments for this car's authenticity is its code 72 Monaco Orange paint. This color, along with Daytona Yellow, were only available on SS-optioned Chevelles. While both colors could be special ordered on non-SS models, the two-digit paint code would have been replaced by a dash on the trim tag. As you can see from our pictures, this is not the case. The builder wisely opted to paint the top versus replacing the factory vinyl. This gives the brilliant paintwork some extra space to shine. Applied over a laser straight body, the unique orange displays a gloss and depth not available from assembly line paint. Panel fitment is excellent with uniform gaps all around. A black SS body stripe breaks up the orange and lends this Chevelle an aggressive demeanor.

From the blacked-out grille and rear taillight panel to the bright moldings around the wheel wells, all SS trim is present and showroom fresh. Proper SS badging is also found in the all the usual location such as the grille, fenders and rear panel. Glass looks original but shows it age well as does the stainless trim surrounding each piece of it. The chrome bits such as front and rear bumpers, door handles and rear view mirrors all show nicely with no rust, waves or imperfections visible.

Between the frame rails, you'll find a 396 cubic inch big block V8. The block displays a 3916323 casting number, verifying that it is a true 396. Cast from June of 1967 to June of 1968, the F167 (June 16th, 1967) date code shows to this to be one of the earlier blocks from that casting. The engine has been rebuilt to L34 specs with the exception of a Comp XR282HR cam and a GM HEI ignition. Dressed in orange paint with factory style chrome valve covers and an open element air cleaner the engine maintains a traditional look. Up top, a correct "Turbo-Jet 350 Horsepower" decal plays down the 375+ horsepower the engine actually produces. The vintage look is upheld throughout the bay thanks to details like correct decals and a reproduction Delco battery. Exhaust is released through factory cast iron manifolds that breathe through a true dual system with Magnaflow mufflers.

Behind the 396 is a Muncie M-20 4-speed with an AC Delco 11" clutch. Date coded November of 1969, this transmission corresponds with the car's model year. Power is sent to the rear wheels by a 12 bolt Positraction rear end housing stoplight and highway friendly 3.31 gears. Further aiding traction is the factory 4-link with correct boxed lower control arms and the optional F41 rear sway bar. Up front, bumps are addressed by a clean stock double A-arm setup with high rate springs, just like the factory built it. Steering comes courtesy of an SS-specific quick ratio power steering box while stopping power is provided by J52 power single-caliper front disc brakes with drums in the rear. At the corners, 14" SS Rally wheels are wrapped in reproduction G70-14 Goodyear Polyglas tires.

Inside, this Chevelle hosts a fully restored black interior. With new foam, cushions and stainless trim, the strato-buckets look and feel better than ever. The lack of a console highlights that gap between the seats, making the interior feel bigger than it really is. Thanks to the Special Instrumentation option with integrated temperature, oil pressure, gas, and battery gauges, driver controls are thorough and well laid out. An important detail to note is the redline on the tachometer. The redlines were based on what engine was ordered in the car. This Chevelle has the correct 5,500 rpm redline which was specific to L34 and L35 396's. A Hurst shifter adds some period correct flair to the inside. Entertainment is provided by a push-button AM radio while climate control comes courtesy of an Astro Ventilation system. From the Fisher-branded interior rocker trim to the stainless trim on the door panels, every piece looks showroom new. Fresh black carpet and a new headliner complete the interior.

Documentation includes a brief history of the car, build photos and several pages of information breaking down the VIN, trim tag, transmission castings and more.

All Original "Survivor" Pirsch & Sons Co. Pumper Fire Truck! Fantastic driving vintage fire truck with a great history! Very well researched, and documented Fire Truck! Loaded with vintage fire fighting accessories! Perfect vehicle to add to your collecti. Pirsch Fire Apparatus Manufacturing Company had its first Horse Drawn Fire Wagon leave its Kenosha, WI factory in 1898, from then until 1991, Peter Pirsch & Sons Co where known to build some of the finest Fire Trucks in the world. Pirsch held several patents on fire fighting equipment, from ladders to hose clamps, innovation and quality was his key to success. That is why in August of 1936 an order was placed by the town of Pawhuska, Oklahoma for a new Fire Truck to be built by Pirsch & Sons. We are pleased to offer that Fire Truck. Still wearing its original factory paint, chrome, upholstery and so on. It remains in original unrestored "survivor" condition! It is a monument to how well these truck where built. Powered by a Waukesha Inline 6cly with twin plug ignition and producing an amazing 127hp at only 2600 RPM! Behind that is a 4 Speed Manual transmission that allowed the Fire Trucks to travel at higher speeds and provided quicker response times. Of course today it allows us to travel at safe highway speeds, or about 50mph. This is a pumper style truck and was said to be in working order, and tested at a vintage truck event last summer, however we here at the museum has never tried it. We have however, had an amazing time driving the truck around town and enjoying the endless waves and "thumbs up" you are sure to see also! The rear of the truck has a platform, over the top of the hoses, for passengers to ride on during parades and a flag pole holder for a Large flag to be displayed also. Included with the truck is all the extensive research and original documentation on this fire truck. Including the original order and letters between the mayor and Pirsch. Delivered to the town in December 16, 1936 the truck was actually titled in January of 1937 and is being sold on a clear Missouri Title, although the original title papers from Oklahoma are included. Also included are sale brochures, articles from the local paper pertaining to the truck, a photo of the truck when it was new, operation manual and various other research papers about this truck and Pirsch & Sons Co.
