The work we have had done: Replaced Brakes and Radiator Body work and paint (all rust removed, sealed and painted candy apple red from original green), perma-bedliner installed on truck bed (bedliner is flaking a bit, but not much, and we still have paint (candy apple red) for touch up detailing to truck body) New All weather tires (bought at Discount Tires, less than 300 miles on them)P235/75R15 MS New Engine - 405 V8 (OD read 48K but engine has less than 300 miles on it) Electrical -rewiring lights, horn, brakes, etc., to operational Replaced gages (gas, heat, etc) Restored original bumper (bumper still has some rust on it but is in excellent working condition-our intent was to have it chromed along with front grill(original front grill in good condition, a few dings but not hardly noticeable and very aesthetically attractive) Interior restoration-fully redone, changing color scheme from original green and white to red and white, also new glove compartment, new steering wheel, other interior areas painted either candy apple red or painted black, seats completely redone, as was all the leather in the cab. We took possession of the truck when my grandmother passed a couple of years ago and have been working on it ever since. The truck had been parked for about a decade before we were given it and our goal was to restore it for my son who is 16 years old. However, with gas prices what they are, and the time it takes to restore, our family has decided to evaluate selling the truck. Plus, my son really wants a Jeep. The work we have had done: Replaced Brakes and Radiator Body work and paint (all rust removed, sealed and painted candy apple red from original green), perma-bedliner installed on truck bed (bedliner is flaking a bit, but not much, and we still have paint (candy apple red) for touch up detailing to truck body) New All weather tires (bought at Discount Tires, less than 300 miles on them)P235/75R15 MS New Engine - 405 V8 (OD read 48K but engine has less than 300 miles on it) Electrical -rewiring lights, horn, brakes, etc., to operational Replaced gages (gas, heat, etc) Restored original bumper (bumper still has some rust on it but is in excellent working condition-our intent was to have it chromed along with front grill(original front grill in good condition, a few dings but not hardly noticeable and very aesthetically attractive) Interior restoration-fully redone, changing color scheme from original green and white to red and white, also new glove compartment, new steering wheel, other interior areas painted either candy apple red or painted black, seats completely redone, as was all the leather in the cab. Side Mirrors in original mirror beds restored (beds need to be painted (originally white) or chromed), original rear view mirror restored and we restored original windshield wipers (operational) and put in new, but stock, seat belts. Transmission-replaced-seals, etc, replaced ALSO we have original hubcaps and truck has good inspection through 06/07 (this month).
