NEW LISTING! 1939 LaSalle Model 39-50 Eight, 4 door sedan. The LaSalle cars were a new line to fill the gap between Buick and Cadillacs in the General Motors lineup. Billed as a Companion Car To Cadillac. LaSalles were built on a 120 inch wheel base, with a Fisher Body. This is a very nice and clean car that was restored a number of years ago. It has been inside since the restoration. We have driven the car a few miles a year since we have owned it, as we do with most of cars in our museum. This car has a really nice cream/tan mohair style cloth interior, new carpets. Dash is beautifully restored, and all the gauges work fine. Has original radio, but is not working. Heater and windshield wipers work fine. The body is arrow straight, with re-chromed bumpers, nice grilles, all the glass is good, all name badges and trim is intact and in good condition. Runs and Drives Smooth and Quiet. The original Flathead V8 engine, has been rebuilt. Original 3 speed Transmission, column shifter. The paint is gold/light brown, and has a few blemishes in the paint. There is a spot on the roof that is peeling, as you can see in the photo. Tires are in very good condition, and has nice original hub caps. The running lights you see in the photo of the car sitting outside, are no longer on the car. This jewel would make anyone a nice family driver, or could be used for rental for weddings, anniversaries, etc. As, the rear doors open from the front for easy access to the back seat.
