This recently restored 1972 BMW 2002 sedan was purchased from the previous owner and has not been registered since its restoration. Finished in Riviera Blue this BMW has been modified for road race use with updated suspension, full roll cage, Recaro seats, proline steering wheel and 4 point sparco seat belt system. This vehicle is a matching numbers unit and still fitted with its original inline 2.0 liter engine and factory transmission. Updated exhaust, heavy duty alternator, Weber Carburetor and modern (oil, temp, volts, vacuum) gauges have been added to the center console for reliability. Battery has been relocated to rear of the vehicle and rear seats have been removed for less weight. Vehicle rides on 14 BF Goodrich tires mounted to polished Panasport wheels.
