Extraordinarily rare with a mere 2,231 actual miles, this 1987 Chevrolet El Camino SS Choo Choo remains in genuine showroom condition. The black exterior with silver accents gives this final-year El Camino a distinguished look that stands the test of time. Special Choo Choo Customs upgrades add unique character to an already sought-after model, with original pinstripes and emblems adding subtle detail. The 14"" factory wheels wrapped in 205/75R14 Firestone tires complete the factory-fresh appearance of this exceptional El Camino.
Opening the door reveals a gray cloth interior that appears virtually untouched. The bucket seats with console arrangement offer excellent comfort and support, while the factory Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo provides period-correct audio. Power windows, power locks, cruise control, and a tilt wheel offer convenience expected in upscale vehicles. The air conditioning works perfectly, keeping occupants comfortable regardless of outside conditions. Even after decades, this interior still maintains its new-car smell, a testament to its remarkably preserved condition.
The 5.0L V8 engine starts immediately and runs flawlessly, having been preserved in time-capsule condition. Paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, this drivetrain provides smooth power delivery and excellent response. Power steering makes for effortless control, while power disc brakes up front provide reliable stopping power. The coil spring suspension with shocks and sway bar up front and coil springs with shocks in the rear deliver a balanced ride. The factory single exhaust system completes this mechanically sound package.
