1964 Chevrolet Impala 2-dr Hardtop Hydraulic Low Rider. This is one neat car and something you don’t see everyday in this corner of the world. Powered by a stock 283 V8 and a 2-speed power glide, this car isn’t so much about power, but more about cruising in style! It does have an upgraded tight ratio power steering box. There’s also dual exhaust. Nicely put together with a 4-battery/2 pump CCE hydraulic set up on all 4-corners with interior controls. Incredible paint in a turquoise color that’s very close to the factory original paint, except of course for the custom teal/purple/blue and gold candy-patterned air brushed roof! This thing lays frame and also hops a bit up and down (as is the style). Not an outrageous wheelie in the air kind of car, but moves up and down quickly. Individual ride controls mounted under the dash. Right now it’s riding on 13” Zenith wire wheels with knock off caps. Lots of gold and chrome filigree trim including door handles, wipers and all kinds of neat flourishes. The interior is a brand new Ciadella interior kit with factory correct teal vinyl and cloth combo upholstery and a white headliner. There’s lots of gold plated accents including door pulls and handles. A new full JBL system keeps the tunes rocking. The dash was also repainted and is waiting for a new dash pad. Lots and lots of chrome underneath too including: upper and lower A-arms, steering linkage, rear trailing arms, rear differential, trunk pan, 2-ton cut front springs, door handles, fender skirt guards, gas filler guard. Upcoming modifications include changing upper front control arms to bring the wheel alignment back into spec for regular road driving. Odometer reads 86,000 miles, but with only 5 digits, true milage is unknown.
