This engine was freshened up with a Melling high-volume oil pump, new Cloyes timing chain, new main rear seal, front timing chain cover seal, and a new water pump. After a custom tune by EFI Achemy in Green Cove Springs, Florida, this small block has a healthy rumble emanating from its Xcelerator dual exhaust. Power is routed through a floor-shifted 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission before being sent out to the 3.70-geared nine-inch rear end.
