About the 2007 Chevrolet Corvette

The sixth generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, known as the C6 Corvette, was produced from 2005 to 2013. It represented another significant evolution in design, performance, and technology, further establishing the Corvette's reputation as a world-class sports car.

Introduced in 2005, the C6 Corvette featured a more refined and aggressive exterior design compared to its predecessor. It retained the classic Corvette styling cues but incorporated modern touches, such as exposed headlights and a more aerodynamic profile.

Under the hood, the C6 Corvette debuted with the new LS2 engine, a 6.0-liter V8, which provided even more horsepower and torque compared to the C5 model. The Corvette Z06 returned in this generation, featuring a powerful LS7 engine and lightweight construction for exceptional performance on the track.

In 2008, the Corvette received another significant upgrade with the introduction of the ZR1 model. The ZR1 was equipped with a supercharged LS9 engine, producing over 600 horsepower, making it the most powerful Corvette at the time.

The C6 Corvette offered various performance packages and enhancements, allowing customers to customize their Corvette to their performance preferences.

Inside the cabin, the C6 Corvette featured improved materials and a more modern and driver-focused interior design.

In 2012, the Corvette received a special edition known as the 427 Convertible, which paid tribute to the iconic 427 cubic-inch engine from the past.
