This 1965 John Deere 5010 Mead Repower is a one-of-a-kind antique/collector's tractor that has undergone a complete and meticulous rebuild. With less than 5 hours on the rebuilt Detroit 8v71 engine, this tractor is in excellent condition and ready to work. The hood and air cleaner raise and lower with linear actuators, and the shifter has been moved to the fender for convenience. The supercharger and valve covers have been polished and chrome plated to give the tractor a sleek, modern look. The Deere emblems are made from solid aluminum and machined/painted to perfection. All casting has been smoothed, primed, and block sanded before the PPG Delfleet base and 5 coats of clear. The tractor has been painted, color-sanded, and polished on all sides, underneath, front, and back. It also comes with new tires. Although the serial/VIN tag is missing, it is believed to be either a late 5010 or early 5020. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this incredible piece of history that is as beautiful as it is functional.
