$52,910 spent 150 miles ago, May of 2019. This was just on improvements and getting it dialed in. We have receipts. It is a street beast! Dyno tested at 746 hp and 734 lbs of torque! Yet, it is still very civil with air conditioning, stereo system and even cup holders.
EXTERIOR: Built in Georgia and lived there most of it's life. Very clean metal, original 1/4 panels. Beautiful colors just different enough to get your attention. I've heard many compliments on the color in the short time that it's s been here. The body is really straight and clean. I see checked along the bottoms, smooth and straight. The metal flake is laid out evenly and the clear coat finishes polished like it's wet. Jambs are painted slick. The tall fiberglass cowl hood is straight and fits real nice. Has some premium billet hood pins. New white vinyl top and the heavy Chevy stripes set it off nice. All the trim and chrome is redone or replaced. Has custom 572 emblems, new bowtie mirrors, grill, headlight bezels, door handles, tail lights. All the stainless trim around the windows, rain gutters and wheel wells was replaced. Show chrome on the bumpers. New front and rear glass. All new weatherstrips and window seals. Staggered size Ridler wheels- 17s in front, 18s in back. Nitto Extreme ZR performance tires, extra wide in the back. This car looks amazing. Upon close inspection you can not pick a few small nicks and a smear in the decal stripe.
INTERIOR: I really like the interior. Classy and comfortable. Recaro sport seats feel great ($2,200), custom made console with cupholders, new door panels. It has all been custom upholstered and stitched. It was lined with sound deadener. Beautiful dash. New dash pad, metal is painted body color, custom instrument panel and some really good looking electric gauges with LED lights. All new knobs, vents, electronic slide heater and air controls. Has modern Kenwood stereo with 6x9 speakers in back. New carpet and sill plates. Factory style shift bezel and boot with Hurst t-handle shifter. Up above has a new mirror, white headliner and working dome light. Custom billet handles and window cranks are powder coated black. Has polished tilt column with aluminum spoked steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow there's some serious money under the hood of this car. That's a crate motor from Blueprint, receipt was $11,000. 572 with 746 hp and 734 lbs of torque, we have the dyno sheet to back it up. Has 4 bolt mains, forged pistons, rods and crank. Has aluminum heads and water pump, big high rise Holley aluminum intake with Holley Dominater electronic fuel injection. Has MSD ignition system and coated headers. It's dressed to the nines with some custom made big polished aluminum valve covers. In front it has March billet bracket and pulleys with serpentine belt. Has a polished one wire alternator, a polished mini AC compressor. Modern Wilwood hydroboost brake system. Modern power steering system with braided lines and billet remote reservoir. Runs cool with an oversized aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. All new wiring. The bay and under the hood is gloss black. verything is Over the radiator is chromed with an extra filler panel that's been engraved 572 Chevelle. I love the custom hinges- billet with struts.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Looks like it is perfectly clean metal. I dont see any patches, quarter panels have no splices. The battery has been relocated to the trunk. Optima gel cell with a billet hold down. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb is painted glossy, the factory seams and spot welds in the jam are clean. New weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: Completely new custom suspension front and back, has grease fittings throughout. Upfront it has fat tubular QA1 control arms, coil over adjustable gas shocks, reinforced K-member with skid plate, heavy duty sway bar and upgraded CPP steering box. In back it has custom upper and lower control arms, heavy duty sway bar and adjustable coil over gas shocks. Upgraded custom brake system with drilled and slotted discs at all four wheels. New e-brake assembly. Has a fat custom exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. If you really want to piss off your neighbors, it has has electric dumps right after the headers. Bottom of the motor has oversized oil pan and a high torque starter wrapped in heat wrap. Heavy duty scatter shield connects to the M-20 Muncie 4-speed. New Hurst Competion Plus shifter, aluminum flywheel, RST twin disc clutch. 12 bolt posi rear with aluminum cover. New fuel system- tank, straps, insulators, sending unit and braided lines.
There is well over $100,000 invested in this car. It does include a binder of documentation. It is set up to run strong, handle great, stop on a dime. All while being comfortable and looking great. This is a great value, my salesman just told me I priced it to cheap!
