This one off Cobra with $90k invested, pro built over the past 3 years with focus on craftsmanship and performance. The entire car was built around the engine, transmission, and wheels to get that nice low, aggressive stance. This Cobra not only looks right but is crazy fast. 351 W HO SVO GT-40 385 HP (PN M-6007-A351) bracket race crate engine with only 800 test miles. It is primarily intended for the weekend bracket racer. The dearborn boys haven't offered an engine this powerful since the demise of the big block Cobra Jet and 351 Boss. Titled as a 1966 Ford in California.
Built around Ford's Heavy Duty 5.8L Sportsman Race Block, the bottom end includes a nodular cast iron crankshaft and heavy duty connecting rods. The engine's flat-tappet, high-lift hydraulic cam offers a significant power increase without beating up the valvetrain because the cam is designed for maximum horsepower. SVO Aluminum GT-40 cylinder heads flow significantly better. SVO GT-40 valve train kit includes springs, retainers, keepers, seals, and premium stainless steel swirl polished valves, with undercut stems, and roller rocker arms. Induction is handled by Edelbrock's 351 W Victor Jr., a high-rise single plane intake manifold optimized for top end horsepower. Holley carburetor 750 CFM double pumper mechanical secondary ignition.
