One of the most desirable muscle cars ever designed was the 1969 ½ Roadrunner with the A12 Package.
There was very limited production for these Roadrunners, and this rare specimen is a true Vitamin C Orange car from the factory. It’s 1 of maybe 1 post car, 4-speed that was built in the late-year-only color K2 code.
SMG found this beauty sitting since 1978 in a barn in south Florida. Although the floor pan, trunk pan, and lower quarters have rotted out, the frame and torsion bar support are rock solid. Unfortunately, the original 440 block is long gone, but this car still has a date code correct, 69 HP2, 440. The car came with the correct 18 Spline Hemi 4-speed trans, bellhousing, and original shifter. Unlike most of these barn finds, the original 4:10 Dana is still installed.
We intend to start sheet metal work on this Roadrunner. We will also be sending the engine and trans to the specialists to make them like new.
This car will be available for purchase on a negotiated basis in some stage of restoration, or it can be pre-purchased at its finished price for $125,000.
This Roadrunner will be ready in about a year.
*We highly recommend that each car is inspected by a third party prior to purchase.
