Nissan has unveiled the redesigned 2025 Nissan Armada SUV, which features a more stylish exterior, a new V6 engine, updated tech and a new off-road trim level. Nissan calls the design of the 2025 Armada adventure ready with its stronger stance and higher ground clearance. It also looks more upscale than before with its full-width LED taillights and large 22-inch wheels. Under the hood, the old V8 engine is gone and now the Armada is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6, which generates 425 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. That's an increase of 25 hp and 103 lb-ft. compared to the old V8. The V6 is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and the Armada can tow up to 8,500 pounds. [ See image gallery at www.thetorquereport.com ] For off-roading fans, the Armada is now available in the more rugged Pro-4X trim level, which adds all-terrain tires, an increased approach angle, underbody skid plates, an electronic locking differential and an adaptive air suspension. With its highest setting, the Armada Pro-4X has 9.6 inches of ground clearance. The Armada's interior is now more modern and comfortable with available massaging front seats, 64-color ambient lighting, dual 14.3-inch screens and a 12-speaker Klipsch audio system. The interior is more spacious with a 24 percent increase in cargo space behind the third row and more legroom in the first and third rows. The 2025 Nissan Armada is slated to arrive in late 2024.
