1974 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 2 Dr. Hardtop. The actual true story of this car is when it was purchased by the original owner, it was a present for and given to his wife with the original red ribbon still in car. She said she loved it but it was to big for her to drive, subsequently it spent its entire life in a heated garage serviced and started properly, but in 48 years only accumulated a actual documented 6,780 miles. This car never seen rain much less even dust as it was always covered. The body is absolutely flawless with vibrant crystal clear paint, chrome that is equivalent to showroom new, no pitting. Haze, dings, blemishes, or even fade. The interior is unbelievably astonishing, considering its white leather that's flawless, no yellowing, soils, stains, lines of wear, or any marks of any kind. Which includes the seats, door panels, headliner, carpets, and the original caddy mats, the dash has no cracks, nor sun bleaching, or deformity's of any kind, the steering wheel is perfect no cracks, notches or marks of any kind. The car looks like it was never sat in. The engine compartment is spotless and actually still smells like a new engine, the trunk is also spotless with the original never taken out jack and spare tire, that still has the original air in it from 1974. Please excuse me if I sound repetitive and redundant, but this car is really incredible, as though it was in a time capsule. But so far I have only described the appearance and the cosmetics. Let me now describe the mechanical attributes, the engine absolutely purrs, with no noises or smoke etc which it shouldn't considering it has almost no mileage. The transmission shifts flawlessly, the suspension is smooth and soft, and rides like on a cloud, impossible to duplicate on today's cars. The brakes, steering etc are equally excellent. The car has a abundance of power accessories and they all work such as the power windows, seats, antenna, etc. The radio and original cadillac 8 track stereo, plus ashtray & lighter are like new. This is a car that is really rare, condition wise and will afford its next owner with a marvelous piece of history, and generate compliments, admiration, and alkaloids where ever its seen or shown plus of course many trophy's. Also equally important a car that can be driven and enjoyed with pleasure and confidence of reliability. Truly a 1 of a kind automobile. Asking $29,500.
